Camp Kef is built to grow with your child
Our camp experience is organized into age-based program units to ensure that each camper is supported at the right developmental stage, while still being part of one connected Camp Kef community. Campers move through these units year after year, building on familiar routines, traditions, and relationships as they grow.

Camp Kef is divided into seven units by age, each overseen by a dedicated Unit Head who is responsible for the day-to-day experience, staff support, and camper care within that division. While activities and levels of choice evolve as campers get older, every unit shares the same values, spirit, and sense of belonging that define Camp Kef.

Infants & Toddlers
Our youngest campers, Infants through 2 years old, are introduced to the fun of summer camp in a safe, nurturing and low-key environment. Under the supervision of caring, qualified preschool teachers and specialists, children enjoy a variety of developmentally appropriate camp activities including art, music, baby word play, jPlay, gym & free play, Shabbat, snack, water play and special events.

Fourth & Fifth Grade
In Gesher, our 4th and 5th graders enjoy a perfect blend of traditional camp experiences and our exciting, camper-selected Majors Program. This innovative program allows campers to choose a weekly special interest, from sports and arts and other specialized activities.

In addition to their Majors, Gesher campers enjoy a variety of engaging activities designed to nurture their individual creativity. Each day in Gesher is filled with excitement, self-discovery, and the chance to build meaningful relationships, all while creating lasting memories and growing as individuals. Gesher campers enjoy the perfect balance of structured activities and freedom to explore new passions!
Sixth & Seventh Grade
In Keshet, our 6th and 7th graders spend their mornings engaging in the Majors Program, where they select a weekly special interest from a range of options, including sports, arts, STEM, and more, for a double-period immersive experience led by local experts. Electives and clubs also gives campers the chance to explore their passions in depth while developing new skills.
Keshet campers also take part in a special podcast project and an optional special overnight trip!
Eighth, Ninth & Tenth Grade
Our oldest campers, in grades 8-10, enjoy all the excitement and growth that day camp offers. At this stage, they crave independence and responsibility, while still being kids. That’s why we’ve designed a program that balances both.
Chalutzim campers start their day in our Majors Program, where they choose from a variety of weekly sports, arts, and special interest activities led by local artists and coaches. With a double-period format, they experience these activities in an immersive, hands-on way.

Afterwards, Chalutzim campers will assist younger campers in their bunks, working alongside bunk counselors to help guide and mentor them. The rest of the day includes traditional camp activities, along with a leadership program designed to develop valuable leadership and interpersonal skills through practical learning experiences.
