Majors
Our Majors program for kids in 4th - 10th grade is a camper-selected special interest option taught by local partners that campers enjoy for a double period for a truly immersive experience. Each week, your child will get to participate in a different Majors program to promote diversity in knowledge and fun! Pre-selection of Majors options for each week opens in early June. Some Majors have limited spots so stay tuned!

Sports with Coach Ryan
Major - June 24th-August 16th
(All weeks 1-8 of camp)
In addition to our regular sports activities, Camp Kef also offers a Sports Major! Our sports program offers an enriching and dynamic experience for campers. Under the guidance of beloved Coach Ryan from Black Rock Middle School, campers explore various sports, learn essential skills, and enjoy the benefits of physical activity. Coach Ryan curates fun and different sports to try throughout the summer. Whether it’s soccer, basketball, or tennis, our child-centered environment fosters teamwork, growth, and lasting memories.

Main Line Art Center
Major - June 24th-August 16th

In addition to our regular arts activities, Camp Kef’s is a proud host of the Art Major by the Main Line Art Center. Young artists are invited to explore their creativity. From painting and drawing to ceramics and more, campers will discover various artistic forms. Join us for a colorful summer of self-expression and artistic growth! Guided by skilled instructors campers embark on a colorful journey.

Embark on an exciting journey of scientific exploration at Camp Kef! Our STEM Major program combines learning with fun. Each day, campers dive into themed adventures, engaging in daily STEM-based innovation projects. From engineering projects to unraveling mysteries of science, our young scientists thrive in a supportive environment. Join us for a week where curiosity meets creativity!
Cooking With Chef Dad's Table
Major - July 1st-July 5th

Calling all young culinary enthusiasts! At Camp Kef, our Chef Dad’s Table program whisks campers into a flavorful adventure. In this hands-on kitchen experience, budding chefs learn the art of cooking, baking, and all things food. From mastering ingredients to understanding nutrition, our campers cook and bake with excitement. Each day, we cook up sweet or savory recipes, helping to also promote reading, math, science, and kitchen safety.
Larping with Epic Adventurez
Major - July 8th-July 12th
(Week 3 of camp)
Young heroes can embrace the art of Live-Action Role-Playing (LARP) in this fun major. With pretend swords in hand and imaginations unbridled, we step into epic adventures. Campers can create characters and backstories and engage in mock battles. Build teamwork and sportsmanship skills with fellow adventurers, building friendships that span realms!
Circus Arts with Time Flies
Major - July 15th-July 19th

Our Circus Arts Major invites campers to explore the magic of circus performance. Under the big top, they’ll learn juggling, acrobatics, and clowning, all while growing their confidence, making lasting friendships, and creating unforgettable memories.
Social Media with Lizzy Friedman
Major - July 22nd-July 26th

In our Social Media Major, kids will explore the art of photography, learn about various social media platforms, and discover essential safety practices. From snapping great shots to understanding online privacy, this program equips young social media enthusiasts with valuable and fun skills.
Theatre Arts with Music theatre Philly
Major - August 5th-August 9th
(Week 7 of camp)
The Music Theatre Philly Major offers an exciting one-week theater major for young performers. Campers will immerse themselves in skits, improv, short dances, and singing. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence, and make lasting memories on the stage!
You do this major and also do our Specialty Theatre Camp weeks 1-3.
Bowling
Major - August 12th-August 16th
(Week 8 of camp)
Strike up the fun in our Bowling Major! Kids will learn essential bowling skills, from proper grip and stance to aiming techniques. Plus, they’ll enjoy friendly games on the lanes.
